For the 5th week we had John Leech come and speak on the father heart of God and our identity in Christ. It was an excellent message and had an impacting and lasting affect on most everyone in the class. The message of the fathers heart and how it brings a new identity is such a relevant and important message, so it was so refreshing and inspiring to hear John speak on it.

Week 4 we were especially blessed to have 2 wonderful servants of God share with us their hearts. For the first couple days we had Sarah Dyer speak to us on intimacy and then for the last few days Andy Byrd, from Fire and Fragrance School of Revival and Reformation, spoke to us on spiritual disciplines. Late in the 2nd week of our Awaken DTS it was announced where teams are going on outreach in a couple months and who are on those teams. So being the first week in which we all knew where the Lord is sending us for outreach it was quite an exciting week.

Week 2 of the Awakening DTS proved to be another incredible week. We had the privilege of having Matt Rawlins speak to us about knowing God and the fear of the Lord. Rawlins stated at the beginning of his teachings that he intended on having us leave with

As I thought about what to write about this week, I couldn’t help but think about all of the students, the speaker, the leader and staff and how we have bonded so much this week. A bonding like no other, because it comes from the unifying of the Holy Spirit!
